We are excited to announce that we have selected 10 of our community partners that are direct social service providers to advise OneCity Health as part of our third Strategic Advisory Workgroup.
Thank you to all of our partners that expressed interest in joining the Workgroup. We received 36 applications, and ultimately selected partners that reflect the diversity of our network and a variety of areas of expertise that are key for the work ahead. Partners were selected with experience in areas such as creating a value proposition, implementing community health worker and evidence-based peer coaching programs, benefit enrollment, health education, housing and more.
The following organizations have been asked to join the workgroup:
- Abbott House
- ACMH, Inc.
- Alliance for Positive Change
- Caribbean Women’s Health Association
- Health People: Community Preventive Health Institute
- Lenox Hill Neighborhood House
- NYC Department for the Aging
- The Carter Burden Network
- The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center
We are looking forward to working with all of these organizations, and sharing their insights and expertise across our network over the remainder of the DSRIP program. We also expect to continue to hear the experiences and voices of all of our community partners in other forums such as the Project Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings (next meeting is June 28th) and monthly OneCity Health Partner Webinars.
Thank you as well to our 10 partners that served on our second Strategic Advisory Workgroup, which concluded in March, 2018. These partners provided a number of helpful insights and advice over the last year, helping us to test and modify tools such as NowPow, services such as CBO capacity building and large initiatives such as Phase III contracting and the Innovation Fund.
